FIP Promises Circuit Showcases Young Tennis Talent in the Netherlands

The FIP Promises circuit, a tournament reserved for young tennis players, made a stop in Son en Breugel, Netherlands, this past weekend. The event featured 25 pairs across five draws, with three round-robin and two knockout formats.

In the Under 14 category, Belgian players Gabriel Fontaine and Abel Callebaut advanced directly to the second round. Meanwhile, in the Under 16 draw, Dutch duo Pieter Hermus Jr and Daan Jens led the entry list, which also included two Brazilian participants, Thiago Henrique Gasparin Santos and Ulisses Gianello Neto.

The Under 18 round-robin event featured three Dutch pairs. The women’s categories included the Under 14, where Belgians Nanou Vereertbrugghen and Hanne Van Bruyssel topped the entry list, and the Under 18, with four pairs composed of players from Belgium, including Sarah De Vleeschouwer and Kyra Heemskerk, who had the highest rankings.

The FIP Promises circuit, with its focus on “Tennis, Beach Tennis, paddle tennis near me, paddle tennis, what is paddle tennis,” provides a platform for young tennis talents to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience on the court.
